Alberto & Son

If you’ve ever walked down Flushing Avenue where Wilson and Morgan collide, there’s a good chance you’ve passed Alberto & Sons and couldn’t resist a quick walk. The showroom is still perfectly appointed, a beautiful vintage oasis where you can dream of lounging on your 1960s sofa and hosting lavish dinners (even if your apartment only seats three.)

Alberto & Sons always offers a fine selection of vintage furniture, all carefully selected and authentic. This beauty and authenticity comes at a price, albeit a relatively fair one. If you are looking for unique pieces, Alberto & Sons is a great option. Be sure to check out Alberto & Sons’ Instagram and website to see new arrivals and existing inventory.

Reuse America

Specialized in everything vintage, Reuse America aims to provide an invaluable backdrop from the past to the present. Forced to close its doors during the pandemic, Reuse America continued to sell authentic vintage pieces through its Instagram and website. Now that things continue to open up, the company has started offering in-store shopping, while also offering online shopping.

Even if you’re not on the hunt for new (old) furniture, you should follow Reuse America’s Instagram as her pieces are just this beautiful to watch. The company also offers low cost local delivery so you can spend more time shopping and less time lifting heavy items. The prices at Reuse America can be steep but are fair considering the quality of what you get. You can even do a quick search on some of the parts on offer and find other sellers listing the same items for a lot more. Reuse America has great service, passion, and authentic vintage furniture.

Gotham savings

Located at the corner of Fresh Pond Road and Myrtle Avenue, Gotham savings has everything from furniture and clothes to fun knickknacks. It’s a great place to spend the afternoon, finding hidden gems as you get lost in every corner of the store. This is one of those places you need to spend time researching, but you’ll be glad you did.

Gotham Thrift is getting new items everyday and offering super low prices. In addition, the staff are always very helpful and passionate about inventory. Come for the furniture, stay for the adorable knick-knacks.

Antiques on Bushwick

Fancy an authentic antique dealer experience? Look no further than Antiques on Bushwick. Located in a former church on Bushwick Avenue, Antiques on Bushwick really delivers when it comes to the size of its inventory. Is it as neatly organized as some of the other stores on this list? No. But what Antiques on Bushwick lacks in ambiance, it makes up for in the size of the selection and the price.

Prepare to watch Antiques on Bushwick. If you are patient and luck is on your side, you just might find some really cool pieces at some pretty low prices. You might be a little overwhelmed, but you will have a lot of fun.

Used furniture and clothing Green Village

Via Google Maps

You may have passed Green Village a million times and I’ve never been, but it’s your sign to finally do it. Green Village has definitely made a name for itself as the go-to place for all things furniture, housewares, clothing and more (check out the feature in the Time). This is another definitely must-dig store, but with the low prices, it’s 100% worth it.

The staff are helpful which makes for a good shopping experience. And who doesn’t like to get lost in antiques stacked up to the ceiling?

Ridgewood Antiques

If you’re looking for a more intimate shopping experience, look no further than Ridgewood Antiques. The store is smaller than some of the others on this list, but what it lacks in size it makes up for with carefully preserved antiques. You will always find something unique and beautiful here, and you will receive excellent service.

The prices at Ridgewood Antiques are right in the middle. There are definitely more expensive items for sale, but there are also a few deals to be had. Again, authenticity comes at a price, but once you walk into this charming boutique you will probably want to buy more than you need to know.

Brooklyn vintage Society

We mentioned Vintage Brooklyn Business as a staple on our list of vintage clothing stores, but we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention it as a great place to decorate as well. Whenever you pass by Brooklyn Vintage, you’ll find eye-catching furniture and knickknacks along the sidewalk outside the store, begging you to come in and find even more treasures. Brooklyn Vintage Company’s selection is always magnificent. Although the store is small, it displays inventory very well so you don’t get too overwhelmed.

Brooklyn Vintage Company is a great place if you are looking for quality in your new decor. Some items may be more expensive, but everything is reasonably priced.

Bushwick Market

We all know and love the Bushwick Market. If you’re ever on or around Wyckoff Avenue, it’s impossible to resist a brisk stroll. It’s a one-stop-shop for trinkets, clothing, plants, and even furniture. You can find some great pieces at Bushwick Market. Plus, he gets new inventory quite often, so be sure to check his Instagram for updates.

Prices at Bushwick Market are generally reasonable on the cheap, making this a must see if you are looking for an affordable option. The staff are always helpful and shopping there always feels like a party.

Dobbin Street Cooperative

Dobbin Street Cooperative has a store in Williamsburg, but being near the Bushwick / Ridgewood area and always has such amazing stuff, we thought we would mention Dobbin Street anyway. Filled with authentic and unique vintage furniture, Dobbin Street offers high quality furniture and decor at fair prices. It’s certainly not the cheapest on this list, but the selection is still beautiful and its authenticity still reliable.

The Dobbin Street showroom is a vintage lover’s dream. Once you get there, you’ll want to move in. And with two locations and new items arriving every day, you’ll always find something you love.

NO1 COLLECTIBLE ITEMS

Via Google Maps

If you look at Google’s reviews for NO1COLLECTIBLES, you won’t find a single bad one. Everyone agrees that this store is adorable, the owners are kind and caring, and the products are beautiful. What more could you ask for? Shopping for new furniture and decorations can get stressful, but not in this Ridgewood gem.

NO1COLLECTIBLES ‘prices are fair and the owners are always happy to help if you have any questions. The store is rather small, but it’s always full of adorable knick-knacks and unique furniture. It’s a hidden gem that more people should know about.
