A popular event organized by Rose & Brown Vintage returns to Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September 2022.
The Leeds Vintage Furniture & Home Fair runs from 10.30am to 4pm each day and takes place in the Old Woolen, an atmospheric space built in 1829 and disused by Sunny Bank Mills since the mid 20e century.
Rose & Brown first used the Old Woolen in 2018 when it still had the old flagstone floor and was surrounded by other abandoned mill spaces; Since then, Sunny Bank Mills has invested in concrete floors, heating and ventilation as they rejuvenate the building into a specialist event space.
Organizer Caroline Brown, of Vintage Pink & Brown, says: “The show brings together 25 stands dedicated to vintage for the home. Genuine vintage pieces add such individuality to a home, and whether it’s a key piece of furniture or small finishing touches, this living room offers a chance to find them.
“The Leeds Vintage Furniture & Home Fair offers a real variety of vintage eras and styles – whether you like Art Deco or Mid-Century, Industrial and Reclaimed or Rustic and Reclaimed, the traders will bring a bit of everything. From seating to storage, artwork to ceramics, textiles to lighting, decorative salvage and French antiques, the fair will be brimming with one-of-a-kind finds you’ll fall in love with.
“We think of immaculate Ercol chairs, rustic farmhouse tables, industrial lighting and Victorian wooden trunks embellished with the patina of time.”
“The Old Woolen still has many evocative signs of the building’s past history, making it an ideal and atmospheric place to display vintage furniture and homewares that hold their own stories.”
Entry to the fair is £2 on the door or book ahead via the roseandbrownvintage.co.uk website. Children under 16 are free.
