Slowly but surely, new businesses are settling on Larchmont Blvd. People of Los Angeles, a new vintage clothing store, plans to open at 129 N. Larchmont Blvd in March, according to owner Regan Robbins. A recent graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), Robbins has been selling vintage clothing since 2013. She told The Buzz she was thrilled to open her first retail store on Larchmont Blvd., which she discovered when worked at LF Clothing. .
“I fell in love with the street and decided I really wanted to be in Larchmont,” Regan told The Buzz.
The store’s name, People of Los Angeles, reflects Robbins’ love of the city’s diverse fashion scene and the people who call it home. She plans to feature a wide range of vintage clothing for women, children and men as well as furniture, art and home decor.
We had the chance to chat with Robbins last week as she set up clothes racks in her new space. Robbins told us she hopes to build on her years of experience running several other vintage clothing boutiques in Los Angeles and plans to have items of interest to a wide audience. The retail store will complement its current online retail operation.
